10 months and more

So, nine months came and quickly went. He's a crawling machine, and said Mama, Dadda and Nana during this month. Gage loves to pull himself up, eat everything under the sun and get teeth! Within the last week of 9 months, Gage got 4 teeth, totally 6! He doesn't handle it very well and didn't sleep much, but thankfully, they're in and MORE are already almost through... here's to an upcoming steak dinner. Also, during the ninth month, we got sleep. Gage actually went to sleep on his own while he was wide awake. It took him a while, but he did it! Praise the Lord! We actually feel semi-rested from a full night of sleep, and we're VERY thankful for that. So, for the first Halloween, Gage was Tony Romo. A few days prior, the 'real' Romo broke his collarbone, so we made a quick alteration and wrapped him up (this was Kim's idea). Gage enjoyed visiting tons of family and friends and got sooooo many great things.

Since more than a week has past in his 10th month, Gage now says Up, Hi and Bye (waves, too). He melts our hearts every day! Just this weekend, we had a quick visit to Santa, where Gage immediately went for his beard and giggled. Gotta love him! Can't believe his first Christmas and birthday are literally just around the corner. The above photos are from the past two weeks. Enjoy!

9 months

I can't believe Gage is almost one year - eeek! We have been blessed with nine months of G's sweet and hillarious personality. He's scooting around a ton and prefers to go 360 degrees for a while, loves to eat pretty much anything and is talking up a STORM! This week, he learned how to crawl and pull himself completely up and stand up against things. We are soooooo unbelievably blessed that God brought him in our lives - brings us much joy! Enjoy the pics!

8 months

From sitting up, getting two teeth, lunging for toys, eating everything from squash, green beans, yogurt to fruits of all kind... the last 30 days with Gage have been lots of fun! He's talking quite a bit and loves blowing raspberries at anyone who will listen. Love him to pieces!

Impromptu backyard photos - 7 1/2 months

In the swing for the first time!
Gage was playing in his diaper storage canvas just before bed! Looks tired, huh? :)

Six months: July 6

We can't believe Gage is already six months. His personality continues to crack us up! Such a great baby and traveler. We headed to Tennessee on his half birthday, where we hung out with family all week in the Smokey Mountains. Here are some pics of Gage taken in our cabin. Enjoy!

Father's Day 2010

We celebrated Father's Day a day early by surprising Kim with tickets to the Cardinals game. It couldn't have been a more perfect day. A huge storm quickly came in about 30 minutes before gametime, which dramatically cooled the temperature. Before, it was 90+ and VERY humid. During the game it was a pleasant 80+ and not humid at all. Delightful!

We enjoyed the game, and Gage was awake and happy the entire time. Most of the game he just sat on our laps and looked out to the stadium! We had access to an air conditioning room during the game, which was wonderful for taking a break and feeding Gage in comfort instead of the crowded stadium.

All in all, we'd take him to another Cardinals game again in a heartbeat. We had a wonderful time celebrating Kim and just how amazing of a Dad he is to Gage... he's the best!

June 6 - 5 months old

Gage is five months today! He's now discovered his feet and tongue, likes to blow raspberries and loves to stand up when you hold him... Oh, and watch the Cardinals! Still as sweet and happy as ever!

Memorial Day - 1st swim

Gage LOVED the water! We swam with Aunt Shana and Malia & Lauryn for about 30 minutes.

F=Four months, funny giggles and coos, finding fingers to put in the mouth, food from a spoon and more!

The fourth month of Gage's life has been so fun. What a personality! He's VERY active and is rolling from side-to-side, but hasn't quite made it all of the way over. He talks ALL the time. I just don't know where he gets that from. All this month, Gage started eating cereal from his high chair, finding his thumb to suck on, laughing out loud, learning he has volume control and finally sleeping in his crib and not the baby swing - Praise God. If you haven't had a chance to meet him, his smile is infectious and sweet personality will make your heart melt.

Pure Bliss

Well, today marks my first day of full-time! It's been a fantastic 15 weeks, spent holding, loving and kissing on my G. Here's a few photos of what I got to come home to today. He was telling us quite the story when we asked him what he did today... we think he had quite a fun day!

Snuggling with Papa

Gage LOVES to snuggle with his Papa... can you see how BIG he's getting?
That's thanks to his love of eating!
